Drug Uses
Eurax helps to relieve itching and treat scabies.
How Taken
Take this medication as determined by your doctor.
Wash and then make your skin dry before you apply this medication.
Contents should be shaked thiroughly before using a dosage.
Scabies: use sufficient amount of Eurax for covering the whole skin surface. You should not ignore your body creases and folds that may be forgotten about. Massage the medication in thoroughly. Eurax should be applied again in twenty four hours. You should not wash your skin before the second applying. Take your cloths and bed linen off in the morning. Wash (hot cycle)/dry-clean them. After 48 hours passed (after the 2nd dose) wash your skin for removing the medication.
Itching: massage Eurax in the injured areas thoroughly. Bathe your hands after the procedure.

Drug Class and Mechanism
This medication is known as a scabicidal antipruritic. Exact working of Eurax is not known.
Missed Dose
If you omit a dose of Eurax, take it immediately. Then go back to your usual schedule.
Storage
Keep the medication between 15 and 25 degrees C (59 and 77 degrees F). Save it away from light, heat, moisture. Do not store it in the bathroom. Save Eurax beyond the reach of children and pets.
Warnings Precautions
You must not take Eurax if:
you have allergies to its ingredients;
you experience irritation after applying this medicines.
Contact your health care provider/doctor immediately in case some of these apply to you.
Important :
Do not use Eurax on inflamed, raw, or weeping skin.
Continuing itching does not indicate therapy defeat. Address your doctor before taking Eurax again.
Be carefull not to swallow Eurax. In case you swallow it contact emergency or a special centre without hesitation.
Do not get the medicine in nose, eyes, mouth. If it happened so rinse affected areas with water as soon as possible.
Eurax is not recommended for use in children.
On condition you suspect you are pregnant, contact your doctor immediately. You should discuss all benefits and risks of taking Eurax during your pregnancy. It is not known whether Eurax passes into human breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Stop breast-feeding while using this medication.
Possible Side Effects
Contact your doctor if any of these side effects take place:
skin irritation.
Ask for medical attention immediately in case any of these serious side effects take place:
Irritation of skin; serious allergic reactions (chest tightness; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; rash; hives; difficulty breathing).
More Information
Eurax should be taken only by those patients for whom it is prescribed. You should not give it to others.
If your symptoms become worse and do not improve, contact your doctor.
