Copegus tablets are used in combination with interferon for treatment patients with chronic hepatitis C, who have not been medicated with interferon before it, or who have had a return of hepatitis C.
How Taken
Take this Copegus by mouth two times daily with food or as prescribed by your doctor. The dosing and period of healing depends on your health condition, weight and response to such therapy. Antiviral remedies work much more better when the amount of medication in your body is kept at a fixed level. Accordingly, take this tablets at evenly spaced meantime. Female patients or female partners of male patients should make a pregnancy test before beginning to use this medicine. Such test should also be taken every month while taking Copegus and for half a year after end of healing such patients should make sure no pregnancy happens. It is better if one drinks plenty of water when being medicated with this remedy. Such actions will lower the danger of severe side effects. Missed Dose

Possible Side Effects
Blurred vision, stomach upset, trouble sleeping, flu symptoms, nausea, vomiting, headache. If any of these applies to you inform your doctor immediately:
hair loss, loss of appetite, rash, itching, weight loss.
Contact your doctor instantly if any of these serious side effects happen:
Tiredness, weakness, trouble breathing, dark urine, yellowing eyes, mood changes.
Inform your doctor if any of these unlikely but serious side effects take place:
pain in the chest, muscle and joint pain, stomach pain, rapid breathing, unusual bleeding.
Allergic reactions to Copegus are unlikely, but in case they occur seek medical attention immediately. Such symptoms are the following ones:
rash, itching, swelling, dizziness and trouble breathing. Contact your pharmacis or doctor if you have some other effects.
